Pre-Order Event FAQ

Due to the current climate of consistent delays due to COVID-19, we planned on switching to a made-to-order to an in-stock system, with pre-made items ready to ship. However, with the restock that occurred on 7/17, we were then spammed with messages and emails asking about pre-orders. Due to high demand, we will use a pre-order system for the foreseeable future. To keep this running as smoothly as possible, please read below before purchasing. 

When is the Pre-Order event?

Our next pre-order event is Friday, July 31 at 6 PM CST (or 7 PM EST for the east coast, and 4 PM PST for the west coast!). Prior to this time, our shop will be in "password mode" so we can make proper adjustments to quantities of stock (meaning the website will not be available to the public for a short period of time), and we will remove password mode once we are ready to open. We will have preorders run for a week, with us pausing our shop Saturday, August 8 at 2 am CST, with our shop going back into "password mode" temporarily to collect data and zero out inventory. Once everything is collected and cleared out, we will reopen our store for viewing and to be able to contact us. Due to our participation in Virtual Crunchyroll Expo, we will hold a smaller event September 4-6.

How much stock will there be?

We plan on having 150 of each candle and wax melt available for preorder purchase with a few exceptions. We will have 50 of each hand sanitizer available. Sample packs will be limited to 10 tea light versions and 10 wax melt versions due to the length of time it takes to make.  Wax melters will still be TBA as we are working with vendors to try and get inventory, but this is not guaranteed due to COVID19 delays. Once items are sold out, that is it for the preorder event. We will not post more stock for purchase.

How long will it take to get my order?

We are currently unsure of the timeline that you will receive your order. This is based on many factors:

  1. We do not know how many orders we will receive during the event. Everything is made by hand and shipped by one person, so it will take awhile to process all orders.
  2. Due to COVID19 delays, it has been taking me 3x-4x longer than usual to receive my materials. This causes a delay in making products.
  3. Once the item is shipped, the package is at the mercy of the postal service. What would normally take 1-3 days domestic shipping and a few weeks for international shipping, now takes 1-2 weeks MINIMUM for domestic shipments and months for international shipments. I have no control on how long your package takes to get to you once shipped.

Please keep in mind that I am one person making and shipping everything, and I do in fact need sleep and need to rest. Unfortunately I am not a robot nor a cyborg that can work hours on end. Personally, I do not want to die by Karoshi, and would like to live a long and healthy life.

I need this order for a birthday/special occasion. Can you help me?

If you contact us within a reasonable amount of time, we will try our best to accommodate your request. Again, EVERYTHING IS HANDMADE AND TAKES TIME. On top of that, I am not a mind reader. I had people contact me saying the order was for a birthday when they gave no indication on the order that it was time sensitive, and they would need it next day/yesterday/etc. I WILL NOT CANCEL ORDERS BECAUSE IT IS TAKING TOO LONG TO ARRIVE AND YOU DID NOT CONTACT ME ABOUT THE ORDER BEING TIME SENSITIVE. However, if too many people abuse this courtesy just to try and get their order faster, I will stop with special requests, and orders will be processed in the order they were received.

If your order is time sensitive, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements. If you fail to do this, we will not cancel orders due to the package not arriving on time for your special event. Paying for a faster shipping method (Overnight, 2 Day Air, etc.) only affects the method of shipping once it is shipped, and does not automatically speed up the processing time.

Can I pre-order before the Pre-Order event?:

No. The point of the pre-order event is to give everyone a fair shot to pre-order our products. I sold out of my in-stock inventory so quickly that this is the only way (for the foreseeable future) that I can give everyone access to my products by having a high quantity available for pre-order. Selling pre-orders before the pre-order event defeats the purpose of the event.

Other things to consider:

When you make a purchase, you will also be agreeing to our Pre-Order Terms and Conditions, which will be time stamped upon purchase. Any issues you may have will be in reference to these terms and conditions, along with our normal Terms and Conditions.
